Built around a custom wooden resonance frame, the instrument relies on salvaged hardware, springs, and metallic scrap scavenged from a campus junkyard. Piezo contact microphones are attached directly to the wood to pick up kinetic vibrations when the mounted junk is plucked and scraped.
The project is documented in a live performance video featuring a two-player improvisation, both working to abstract the intimacy between sound, object, and environmental resonance.
