Datamosher, Adobe After EffectsA visual study to Death Grips’ "Birds." Repurposing archival footage sourced from YouTube and Flickr, the piece uses datamoshing and 3D camera tracking to pull apart the mechanics of video compression. 

By locking synthetic motion onto the camera movement of found video and intentionally corrupting the I-frames and pixels, it emulates a digital erosion. This visual decay mirrors the song's harsh, bit-crushed audio, turning compression artifacts and computational breakdown into a particular analog rhythm.
